Symmetrical Asymmetry: An Interesting Design
This minimalist bookshelf takes the form of a regular chessboard, with some of the squares merged into groups of two or three, disrupting the symmetry and creating larger spaces. The bookshelf’s frame is very delicate—it is only 12 mm thick.

She graduated from the High School of Fine Arts in Łódź and later from the Faculty of Architecture at the Łódź University of Technology. She completed an internship at Arquitetura Oscar Ferreira in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. She began her professional career at architectural firms in Warsaw—DJiO and smz.architekci—as well as interior design firms such as MM Idea and De Novo. Since 2006, she has been designing interiors and interior furnishings.
