Best Polish Design – Best Global Design
We often hear the praise of tens of thousands of customers who have already brought our furniture into their homes, and this is what matters most to us, because it is for them that we create our products. The fact that our design and quality have also been recognized by the juries of the most prestigious international and Polish industrial design competitions is a source of great satisfaction for us and confirmation that we offer you products of the highest global standard.
The Red Dot Design Award has been presented since 1955 by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. It was then that manufacturers and Designers around the world were first able to compete for the right to use the distinctive red dot symbol, which serves as a mark of quality in the world of design. It is considered one of the most prestigious awards in the field of industrial design; with several thousand entries each year and a jury composed of renowned experts, it is often even referred to as the “Oscar of design.”
Award-winning designs are displayed at the Red Dot Design Museum, which has three locations—in Essen (Germany), Singapore, and Xiamen (China). The museum in Essen is located in the former Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Its goal is to discover, present, and highlight unique trends in design. Each year, awards are given to the highest-quality works in product and communication design that are, in their own way, groundbreaking in the international world of design.

The competition has been organized since 2010 by the Łódź Design Festival, which was established in 2007 as a showcase of achievements in Polish design. From the very beginning, it has presented design in its various forms—from industrial design, through graphic design, architecture, and crafts, to the creation of services and interactions.
The “Must Have” poll highlights the best Polish designs created by Polish designers and manufacturers that reflect the most important trends in Polish design. The selection of the best products is made by a Council of Experts, which includes renowned architects, media representatives, and representatives of the country’s leading design centers.

The international TOP DESIGN award competition is organized as part of the Arena Design project, which takes place during the Meble Polska trade fair in Poznań. The competition promotes innovative design at the highest level. The prestigious TOP DESIGN award serves as a communication and promotional tool that confirms a product’s outstanding design quality. Entries are evaluated by an independent jury composed of leading experts in the field of design. In the TOP DESIGN award competition, our MILO side table made it to the finals in the furniture category.
