Designers Holzer and Stefan Bartel from the Austrian studio BARTEL/HOLZER founded the design firm BARTEL/HOLZER, which specializes in designing furniture for European manufacturers. Stefan Bartel studied visual design at the University of Art and Industrial Design in Linz and gained experience with various perspectives within the furniture industry over the next 30 years: as an interior designer, seminar leader, lecturer, and furniture designer. Michael Holzer studied industrial design and graphic design at the University of Art and Industrial Design in Linz and has been working as a freelance designer ever since.
